🎙️ New Podcast Episode: The 5 Stages of Getting Let Go
It's a more insightful video podcast about a previous essay, "The 5 Stages of Getting Let Go."
With all of the layoffs and employment challenges in the US, I thought it relevant to discuss the emotional side of being let go.
Join me in this challenging but very relevant topic. And please let me know what you think of the podcast. I'm enjoying it, but is it helpful, entertaining, or engaging? I want to see what you think!
Because...
Getting let go isn’t just a career event — it’s an emotional journey. In this new episode of Bountiful Bridge, I share an essay I wrote during one of the hardest seasons of my professional life: navigating the mental, emotional, and spiritual toll of losing a job.
We often talk about job loss in practical terms — resumes, networking, the job hunt — but we don’t talk enough about the internal experience: the grief, the confusion, the blow to our confidence. This episode is about that. And if you’ve been there or are there now, I hope it gives you space to feel seen and supported.
💡 Mantra of the Episode: Rejection is Redirection. Sometimes, a closed door is the nudge we need toward our next, more aligned opportunity.
🎧 Listen in as I walk through:
The 5 emotional stages of getting let go
How to process the “messy middle”
Why rejection might just be your redirection
📚 I also share a sneak peek from my new fiction novel, The Glass House — a romantic, soul-searching journey set between the Oregon Coast and New York City. Available now on Amazon, Kindle, and at BountifulBridge.com.

Until next time!
